Together with our partners and clients, we work towards solutions for a healthy, sustainable planet and give those ideas a voice.

Today, collectively, we face climate change, a loss of biodiversity, increasingly-erratic weather and displaced people, all challenges requiring strong decision-making in the face of difficult choices.

At the same time new technologies, and greater awareness of the value of social equity, diversity and inclusivity, offer exciting opportunities to create sustainable solutions for a brighter future. With the necessary ingredients of innovation, forward-looking policies and public support, we can strengthen global prosperity while meeting essential NetZero targets. Sectors like energy, transportation, building construction, advanced manufacturing, healthcare and agriculture will be critical to this mission.

Through innovative technical solutions, forward-thinking business plans, and effective communications, we can engage decision makers and civil society to create the conditions to meet the goals of a sustainable, prosperous future.

In Canada and worldwide, Querencia Partners is working with our partners and clients to achieve the goals that will make a difference for the better world of tomorrow.

Sector expertise

Technical, business and communications solutions working in harmony

Bringing together the strength of technical and social solutions is what we do best at Querencia Partners.

Whether you are trying to site new infrastructure, maintain a social licence to operate, or innovate to strengthen your value proposition, QP is a thought partner that can help build the technical solution and a relevant business strategy that will meet stakeholder expectations. Then, we can help you make sense of the data, tell your story, connect with communities and help earn the social, regulatory and technical acceptance.

Energy
From energy systems engineering to communications and regulation on specific generation, QP has breadth and depth of expertise and experience in electricity generation and grid development. Our work takes us from communication of nuclear R&D, including SMR development, to low-carbon grid electrification, as the sector transitions to NetZero. With work in areas like advanced nuclear technologies, fusion and hydrogen, we are working in the future, today.

Cities
Global cities and local solutions are a big part of our work.  Specialties include system resilience, climate change adaptation, waste management, planning and public consultation and communications.

Innovation
We connect ideas to the people who matter most by bringing the invention out of the lab and into the market.  Together we’ll develop engagement and communications with stakeholders in government, regulatory bodies and communities who have the power to help turn those ideas into reality.

Environment and Waste Management
Everything we do has some impact on the environment. Our responsibility is to manage the risks and minimize the impact created from waste streams through responsible stewardship. At QP, we combine technical and social solutions to support some of the most critical sustainability projects, in all parts of the life cycle.

Our work

Build trust

Without trust amongst stakeholders and communities, our best projects stagnate as unfulfilled intentions. Reputation management is at the intersection of business and communication strategy and at the heart of project success. We help build trusted, respected and influential brands starting with a principle-based business plan that carries forward into all facets of your relationships and communications, from digital platforms, to stakeholder, community and employee relations.

Build communities

The QP expertise in urban and regional infrastructure and management includes decades of work in energy systems, waste management and government relations. It includes a working-level understanding of how technical reports develop, move through political channels, and the meaningful public consultation necessary to realize project success. QP also specializes in data management that helps communities understand the world around them and how their practices compare to others.

Build a better future

With our partners and clients, QP solves problems, builds solutions and furthers innovation through a facilitative process that includes relevant business strategies, technical solutions, meaningful public communication, engagement and consultation. We work best when we work together as part of a larger collaborative team. QP seeks to bring people together in everything we do and to be a partner in your success. Together, we are working on the solutions that will build a better future.
